🌤️| Oct-Nov 2025 art (so far)
wanna flesh out this blog a little more as it is now publicly accessible on my neocities, and may end up being a host for a LOT of my stuff...

promotional artwork I made for The Lunar Lounge's Halloween event, the Spooky Tsuki! I always have a lot of fun drawing Tsuki hehe

Tiu, Mavors and Mars already had prettied-up icons on their respective Toyhouse pages, but I unfortunately forgot about Kasei... until NOW! :D

ngl I have been thinking a LOT about the Ringmaster (Sgr A*) since before I even finished the Heat Abnormal remix! a lot of his lore is... a secret, for now, but here's a very tiny glimpse into his story. ft. Astrid vtuber waifu moment

and whenever I make edgy dark art, I always have to balance it with something fun and bouncy LOL. I really love the frutiger aero aesthetic, especially with how it's seen such a huge resurgence in recent years as a response to oversimplified and all-consuming tech.
I think it's really cool how it originated as ... basically a corporate marketing stunt, tricking us into thinking we were about to have this beautiful, eco-tech future. but now Gen Z and our little Alpha siblings have reclaimed it from corporations, because we WANT to create the future we were robbed of.
this pic is a little love letter to the parts of frutiger aero I love, and the childhood joy it brings me.

pixel Kasei & Mavors + pixel Rigel :D made as graphics for my Neocities!
speaking of 2000s aesthetics - something else I absolutely adore is 2000s era pixel dolls & Korean dollmakers! I spent waaaay too much time on elouai as a kid... too bad the owner is, uh, like THAT now.
honestly, it's kind of empowering to make pixel art like this. unfortunately, a lot of those dollmakers are long-gone or... just don't run very well on modern browsers. even so, they still inspire my art to this day, and it's nice knowing that I wield the power to create awesome pixel dolls. lol
it's also nice to work within limits! Procreate was definitely designed for bigger canvases but it does work SURPRISINGLY well for tiny pixel art! plus... having a free Neocities account means I need to be relatively responsible w/ how much MB I use. this means two things: pixel art tends to run a lot smaller with filesize.. AND I can absolutely have a gaudy 2001-looking ass neocities website, complete with crusty pixel graphics. what more could a man wish for..............
thanks for reading, hopefully you enjoy me rambling about planet people bc there's gonna be a LOT of that on here
