I'll remember you all in therapy!

A collection of resources for plurality, including OSDDID and other system origins, especially links we've found helpful or useful. Curated by a medically recognized traumagenic/OSDD system.

Unfortunately, many resources for plurals tend to be EXTREMELY misinformed, exclusionary, or do not fully account for different ways trauma/dissociation may present between different systems. It is important to use discernment for finding resources, but finding objective information on plurality and dissociation can be extremely difficult, especially for those who are new to the plural community.

This collection is anti-syscourse, and we personally do not believe in trying to dictate how other people describe or experience their plurality. As such, there will be resources for those who identify as non-traumagenic plurals. However, it's also not in our interest to dictate other people's opinions - regardless of where you stand on the discourse, this is intended to be a resource for everyone who experiences plurality.

We cannot vouch for the opinions of every single person included in these lists. Inclusion of a link =/= endorsement/agreement of everything the original author/curator believes. Regardless of our stances, we still want to provide balanced information and useful resources - and this does include resources curated by people we don't necessarily agree with.

Please use these resources at your own discretion as needed; you are accepting the risks mentioned above by visiting the links below.

.... Or make your own list! We don't have enough well-curated resources out there for OSDDID!

PSA: The Plural Association (Power to the Plurals / The Plural Warmline), sophieinwonderland, Kinhost and Astraea's Web are known to be problematic sources, often peddling extremely harmful information about dissociative disorders and encouraging polarization across plural communities. See this post from multiplicity-positivity and this post about sophieinwonderland for more information.

Research & Resources for Non-Traumagenics

NOTE 1: As a word of advice, if you are a questioning plural and believe your system may be endogenic / non-traumagenic, it is extremely important to rule out any preexisting trauma as a cause as dissociative barriers can lead to people simply not remembering their trauma. How you choose to identify your system is entirely up to you - but it is an important responsibility to yourself to make sure dissociative barriers, or self-denial/impostor syndrome about trauma, aren't hiding something much deeper.

NOTE 2: The terms 'tulpa'/'tulpamancy' are extremely controversial in the community, especially for concerns over cultural appropriation from Tibetan Buddhism. (See the link on sophieinwonderland above for more context). However, there are otherwise credible resources and even academic literature that still use the term 'tulpa', so please use your best judgement & discernment when perusing said resources. Some alternative terms coined to be less appropriative include willogenic / willomancy, parogenic / paromancy, 'genia', and 'created system'.
